Day 4967 Nothing to wear and nothing to eat

Another quiet morning on the homestead, all are sleeping but yours truly. I’m enjoying a quiet, uninterrupted cup or two of coffee and planning my exciting day of laundering garments.

After last weekends storms that left us without electricity for 2 days, I still have much to do. It was an interesting experiment, removing the assailants link to the YouTube entity…interesting, yet quite exhausting. It was akin to going back in time to when the hostage takers were but wee little ones. “When’s the power coming back on?” “Can we go shopping?” “Can you make a pizza?” “I’m bored”

Now that normalcy has been restored, they are back to their old tricks. The young female confronted me immediately upon my return from work Friday night, asking to go to Kohl’s. I asked the obvious question of Why? And received the reply of, “I need something”. When I asked what, she said, “shorts”. When I said no, I didnt have extra currency for shopping, she predictably replied with “it’s not shopping mom, I NEED IT!” I’m not sure if this is irony? The young female has garments seemingly taking over every inch of her sleeping quarters, yet, she has “NOTHING to wear”

The manchild has spent nearly every day with visits from cohorts from the village. They ride their bikes, walk, talk and sometimes engage in battles that require me to use my stern voice to send them outoors.

Despite the pantry and icebox filled with foodstuffs, we “NEVER have anything to eat”. I am beginning to wonder if the assailants require a diet separate from humans. I am now less than confident in my abilities to provide sustenance. On my next trip to the village to barter at the markets, I secretly hope there is a vendor specializing in the diets of hostage takers; though I would be remiss to believe one actually exists.

I have begun the seemingly neverending task of laundering clothing and must step away from my journal. Though writing of my trials offers a needed outlet, a temporary escape from the reality of a hostage life, I must not let it interfere with my duties.

Day 4958 Supersonic butter, aliens, and geysers

The young female arrived home from Bible camp today. She was filled with words and stories that flowed forth like a geyser that sat dormant for decades. It was obvious she gained much happiness from her time away.

The young man child is frying chicken breasts I had cooked earlier. He is quite the accomplished chef with chicken, eggs, and potatoes. However, he just lamented that he was injured from supersonic flying butter… I wonder if this is related to the rumors circulating the village and even reaching to the city folk? It is regarding the storming of a numbered area said to contain proof of failed alien conquests? Though its intriguing, I must wonder if the aliens really failed or if they walk among us. I mean…where else would supersonic flying animal fat come from???

We had bad weather tonight, storms approached with dangerous blowing of trees and electricity lighting up the sky!!! (perhaps the missing lights from the large city last week made their way here?) and then the aliens, I mean the government officials, warned us of looming tornadoes! I swiftly took the captors to the underworld, I mean the cellar, to ride out the storm. They were obviously terrified since they brought their blankets, pillows, and the small boxes that conjure up the YouTube entity…I think they feared what would happen if they were left to hold us without guidance! I am ON TO THEM!

The worst of the storm is now past and the captors are quiet, I think I shall try to wind down from the days events so I may slumber.

Day 4953 Armageddon averted

The captors and the MOUS are asleep, this is my favorite time of day. Sunshine, birds chirping, coffee brewed and aside from the snoring, all is quiet on the homestead.

Yesterday was fairly uneventful. I attempted to return the abode to a state that allows for human habitation. I feared an unexpected visitor could arrive and report to the village that there must have been a natural disaster which could surely have sent the townspeople into an unnecessary frenzy. I am happy to report that progress was made. By sunset today we will even have laundered clothes to wear, allowing us to maintain the illusion that we are a normal family unit.

If you asked the assailants though, their story of yesterday would be vastly different. I believe July 13th, 2019 will forever be etched in their memory as a near apocalyptic date. They would tell you that the day started normal, and all was going well…almost too well. They will say, they should have seen it coming. The tale they will surely tell to their grandchildren will include the moments before the event that almost ended us all. They’ll tell tales of riding bikes with assailant cohorts, tales of swinging on the play apparatus while singing -oblivious to the looming disaster prepping to strike the homestead.

At approximately 8:18 pm the magic box that uses radio frequencies to allow their electronic devices to connect to entities such as YouTube CEASED to work. The sheer panic exhibited by the manchild was, dare I say, slightly amusing. In all his 4953 days I do not believe I have ever seen him spring into action so quickly. It was clear he feared doomsday approaching as he swiftly located the receptor box and began to diagnose the problem. (Not before he attempted to blame me for the pending apocalypse, of course) Thankfully within 10 minutes he had restored the sending and receiving of the RF transmissions and saved us all from an early Armageddon!!

I feel this receptor box could become a highly effective tool should I plan a hostage takeover. I must study its operations while the captors sleep…wish me luck as I attempt to add to my stockpile of possible takeover resources.

Day 4949- Witchery ditchery Achoo!

Last night we briefly escaped and had dinner with two dear comrades from a far away land. They traveled thousands of miles in only one moon- I have always and will always love them, but that smells of time travel witchery! We sat together and had nourishment of foodstuffs and beverages spiked with ethanol! What a wild and exciting night for a mere hostage!

The captors were less than pleased with our mini escape but communicated with eerie kind tones nonetheless- I fear for when they unleash the wrath.

Tonight the man child is absent, once again he has ditched the female assailant. She has contracted a virus that makes her voice crack, her nose sound full and she sneezes often, so she is quiet. It’s possible tonight will be uneventful and quiet-but then again this could be the calm before the storm!

Day 4947 of the hostage situation

We arrived home from the compound yesterday evening.

I suspect the man child captor sent out smoke signals to his assailant cohorts in town, as he was joined by a local man child comrade within 15 minutes of arriving. He then left to spend the night with this comrade, leaving the young female to once again shoulder the burden of hostage taker responsibilities. It amazes me the composure she maintains but I secretly wonder if she is just concealing the growing rage inside.

The young female has invited a friend to stay the night and they are communicating via an odd linguistic form that is probably only decipherable with the help of the diabolical YouTube entity. It seems that prior to nearly every phrase they must say “hashtag”. I am unsure if this is a reference to a form of cannabis or if they are talking about the prices of local commodities that are written on tags? Either way, I would rather die a thousand deaths before enlisting the assistance of that horrible YouTube being. I must listen closely and learn their dialect if I am ever to devise a plan for escape.

They are now forcibly causing each other to lose air in order to determine their “true laugh ” …I fear they have gone mad!! Is it possible they have contracted the scurvy??? I shall journey to the village tomorrow to purchase citrus fruits and pray it works-what other choice do I have? I fear the villagers will find out what madness lurks within these walls and demand we are quarantined. If I were to remain holed up with this madness and not allowed to leave even for my vocation-it is certain that I too would grow insane even if this lunacy is not a communicable illness!

Day 4945 of the hostage situation

It is raining this am on the compound and I can hear movement slowly developing from the other occupants quarters. We have been joined by yet another hostage family and their tiny assailant. Last night I caught this new tiny captor playfully communicating with the youngest assailant of our hostage neighbors. Using primitive grunts and gestures they made sounds of amusement, a sure sign that they were plotting. I fear for their hostages as I do not know if they realize the danger that awaits them.

One of the MOUS’s and his man child assailant have left the dwelling and that has left our man child captor feeling “bored”. It is only a matter of time before he begins to carry out the advanced skills taught to him by his departed comrade.

Our female assailant spends much time around the three tiny captors and has obviously been promoted to a high ranking leader amongst the assailant clan. I am unsure which is more terrifying; what she unknowingly learns from these novice assailants or what advanced skills she is teaching them.

She is aware that I am documenting my days and I must be careful not to reveal any escape strategies or takeover plans. I found this entry in my journal obviously written by her! If reading it does not bring you sheer terror then i do not know what will!!!

Today I got to eat a donut with the female hostage I found a hidden dr. Pepper to. I got to talk with aunty nana and it was really fun. Today Evelyn, Ben and her dad arrived Alisha should be arriving later today me and my female captive are going to dinner with her sister and her used to be captor I want to get a salad and bbq wings

I need strength to carry on as if I am unaware…If she feels threatened there is no telling what severe consequences I face.

Day 4944 0f the hostage situation

6 am It is humid and wet on the compound this morning. Thunderstorms swept through overnight. Yesterday we were joined by an additional family with two very young female captors and a 3rd domesticated canine. Our female assailant has taken the elder of the two new assailants under her wing. She even accompanied the newest hostages and their two tiny captors to the beach-I can only assume it was arranged to ensure the young budding assailants maintain dominance over their hostages. I often hear the eldest of the tiny captors using a primitive form of speech that our female assailant seems to understand. She even communicates back using a notable variance in her pitch and tone, that is not present when she communicates with us.

Our eldest captor, the young man child, has been carelessly absent in his hostage duties as he and his fellow man child comrade partake in adventures all day. They ride loud motorized apparatuses, hunt, fish and I have even witnessed barbaric hand fought battles bringing each other to the ground until one yells “uncle”-a very odd behavior. It makes me fear that this man child comrade is teaching our Male captor new and more advanced methods of detainment. Either way, this training they do has left our female captor to shoulder all of the responsibility of keeping watch of us. I am unsure if this is a planned exercise to test the female captors abilities or if there is strife between them. Is it possible she will eventually slip up leaving room for escape?

Day 4943 of the Hostage Situation

Its 745 am and all is quiet on the compound. The captors are still asleep. More adults have joined us. There are two additional MOUS’s and one female. If they, like me, are not of the dark side then I fear they know not the power the two assailants possess. They have unknowingly entered into a possible trap but seem blissfully unaware.

There are now 2 domesticated descendants of wolves at the compound who appear to be enjoying the company of the captors as well as each other. The youngest female captor is especially fond of these beasts and they of her. Is it possible she can speak to them and is secretly recruiting them to assist in her endeavors? With a 3rd canine joining us tomorrow the danger can be felt in the air like a looming storm!

Day 4940 of the hostage situation

Today the young female and I escaped the compound and went to a local establishment that specializes in hair. She got small streaks of natural looking lighter colors put in, they call it “highlights”. I on the other hand got all over color to erase the streaks of “tinsel” as the lovely lady fixing me called it. I made a comment that the assailants were obviously to blame for the tinsel (though to protect myself from future retribution I used the term “kids” instead of assailants)

We then ventured to a neighboring village and met friends for nourishment at a local saloon that also specializes in foodstuffs. Was delightful…almost made me forget that I am but a mere hostage.

Its quiet on the compound now, the MOUS’s have taken the three youngest captors into town for essentials, and the eldest 2 captors are out scavenging for food from the pond. I wonder if they are testing me to see if I will make a getaway? I considered an attempted escape but the road going in and out is wide enough only for one vehicle and after completing my chores, I fear I have missed my window. If I were to escape now I would surely meet them on the route, and I am not prepared for a foot chase through the foliage filled with bloodsuckers!! I will stay another day since the MOUS’s have promised to return with wine…I hope this was not just a rouse to keep me confined!
